Space. The Final Frontier.

Elon Musk and the Space Exploration Technologies Corporation, better known as SpaceX, may have hit a bit of a road block with the explosion of their Falcon 9 rocket early this month, but that doesn’t mean that they’re ready to throw in the towel. The company has just released footage on YouTube showing a computer generated concept of its Interplanetary Transport System that involves a reusable booster that docks back onto its launch platform and a solar array that helps the shuttle itself get to Mars in hopes of colonizing the Red Planet.

A comment on the YouTube video pretty much sums it up: “Guys we’re in the *BLEEP* future!” and we couldn’t agree me more as we are slowly but surely entering a stage where science fiction is becoming science fact.
