Ayala Malls has partnered up with popular video streaming platform, YouTube, to give us a unique experience that gives us “a physical space where YouTube comes alive” simply called the YouTube Lounge. The newly opened space at the 3rd Level of Greenbelt 5 allows mall-goers to easily view curated videos on YouTube with less of the annoying buffering times via Accelerator. All that’s needed to do is connect to the mall’s free Wi-Fi and that’s pretty much it, you don’t even have to be at the YouTube Lounge itself.
The YouTube Lounge in Greenbelt 5 is the first of six to be opened in malls in Metro Manila with the following malls set to get their very own in the coming month:
- UP Town Center – October 6
- Glorietta – October 13
- Trinoma – October 26
- Market! Market! – November 9
- Alabang Town Center – November 16
These YouTube Lounges aren’t just for watching videos though. Fans of popular streaming service can also meet and get a chance to talk to some of their favorite local content creators, such as: Erwan Heussaf, Chris Cantada, Mikey Bustos, and Bogart the Explorer, at scheduled meet and greets at the following malls:
- UP Town Center (October 8) – Janina Vela and Wil Dasovich
- TriNoma (October 15) – Team Kramer
- Glorietta (October 29) – Kristine Roces, Say Tioco, and Clara Benin
- Greenbelt (November 12) – Mikey Bustos, Erwan Heussaff, Chris Cantada
- Market! Market! (November 26) – Lloyd Cadena, Anne Clutz, and Boogieboy
- Alabang Town Center (December 10) – Bogart the Explorer, Ralph Jay, and Joyce Sola
