Aside from the official unveil, today also marks the date for the release of the pre-ordered units back in December. Sony will also be selling consoles to people who didn’t have a chance to pre-order it, though supplies are extremely limited given the very high demand of the console today – Sony said that they there is only less than 200 units present in the Philippines this time around, excluding the pre-ordered devices, with the next shipment arriving sometime in February or early March. So if you want your PS4, you better get it now before stocks run out.

As far as launch titles being sold, there will be only two available during the event, though Sony has promised 14 more titles to come in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, as far as Sony’s officially supporting the Philippines in their PlayStation Network, the Philippines is still not included in the countries officially supported in the service. Sony Philippines assured us that they are hard at work trying to integrate the PH into the network which include nearby countries such as Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia, but as of now could not give us a time frame when official support for PlayStation Network for the PH will happen.

We spent a brief amount of time with the Sony Vita TV, so we’ll be writing a hands-on of the device later. Several accessories for the PS4 were also present at the event, including a funky personal 3D headest.
