During the PLDT press briefing earlier we just had one burning question to ask MVP about their purchasing of the telco assets of San Miguel together with Globe. Can they categorically give a timeline on when the public will be able to feel the “significant improvement” in their Internet services. Since the question was already asked earlier, we didn’t expect a straight answer. We were surprised with MVP’s reply.

“It’s difficult at this stage to give you specific dates. But well within 6 months. Within 6 months we can promise.” – MVP

So there you have it folks. A public commitment from no less than the boss of PLDT and Smart that we will see significant improvement in Internet speeds and coverage within the next 6 months. This is definitely exciting and we hope that they make good on this promise.
