Faster filing of accidents = better traffic flow
Anybody who has ever been involved in a vehicular accident knows how long and how much traffic it causes on the road. To help combat that the PNP Highway Patrol Group now has a new tool under their belt – the Police Accident Report Kit (PARAK) developed especially for the HPG.
The app, developed by Galileo Software Inc, allows HPG officers to quickly file, take photos and even get signatures from the people involved in traffic accidents so they can move and clear the associated traffic buildup as fast as possible. The app runs on donated CloudPad tablets from CloudFone.
HPG Director Chief Supt. Arnold Gunnacao has also requested the company to make an app specially for civilians so they can record traffic accidents if there are no enforcers nearby.
