RIM (BlackBerry) Donates P1M and 30 smartphones to Red Cross

RIM donates to Sendong relief and rescue efforts

Despite all the negative talk about Research In Motion (makers of BlackBerry) and how their stock has taken a serious beating in the last few months, they still decided to help out with relief and rescue efforts for Sendong here in the Philippines. They donated Php1,000,000 and 30 BlackBerry smartphones to the Philippine Red Cross.

This makes me even more proud to carry around my BlackBerry Bold 9790. Thank you RIM!

You can help too!

Our good blogger friend, Jane, compiled how you can help victims of Sendong in here blog. Just click here to go to her post. Try to donate what you guys can. Our kababayans down south need every help they can get.
