Free Facebook for Sun Cellular subscribers!
So by now you’re aware of Smart’s free internet allowance of 30MB a day that goes out to their subscribers as well as Talk N Text and Sun Cellular pre-paid customers. What you may not know is that Sun Cellular pre-paid users will get to enjoy free Facebook even AFTER they exhaust the daily 30MB allotment they have!
We stumbled on this after trying out the 30MB offering, and were surprised to see that after finishing off our 30MB of data (which took a fair bit of time, surprisingly) we got a text from Sun Cellular that we’ll still be enjoying free Facebook! This is a pretty generous offer from Sun Cellular and Smart! We haven’t tested this on Talk N Text and Smart pre-paid SIMS yet, BTW, so if any of you encounter this is also the case for both, please let us know in the comments below.
To avail of the free mobile internet offer, Smart, Talk N Text and Sun Cellular subscribers must have an available airtime balance of at least one peso, or is subscribed to any load bucket or promo. They must register each day, by simply sending “FREE” to the number “9999.” Registration is free. They will receive an SMS confirmation upon successful registration. After you finish off the 30MB of data, you should get the text above confirming that you have free Facebook.
