What can you do with 30MB? A lot actually
Earlier today, no less than MVP announced that all Smart pre-paid subscribers (and by extension, Talk N Text and Sun Cellular subscribers) will be getting 30MB of data, free, everyday, until Nov. 30. Now many of you may be asking yourselves, just how far will 30MB of data go? Well, check out the stats below:
- 20 social media posts with photo
- 50 web pages loads
- 20 plain emails
- 15 minutes of music streaming
Granted, it’s not much, but not everyone is an internet junkie that’s connected to the ‘net the entire day. Smart’s 30MB offer also includes access to all sorts of apps, including the ever useful Waze app, which is a godsend for navigating Manila’s labyrinthian streets. For most people 30MB is extremely useful (far better than just being able to browse FB for free), and is just a sampling of what an always-on internet connection can offer.
To avail of the free mobile internet offer, Smart, Talk N Text and Sun Cellular subscribers must have an available airtime balance of at least one peso, or is subscribed to any load bucket or promo. They must register each day, by simply sending “FREE” to the number “9999.” Registration is free. They will receive an SMS confirmation upon successful registration.
