Says 3GB data cap larger than other telcos in PH and around the world

After drawing the ire of a number of their subscribers when they started implementing their strict 1GB a day/ 3GB a month data cap, Globe has come out with an infographic explaining what their fair use policy really is, trying to correct some misconceptions about their FUP. According to Globe, only 3% of their subscribers are affected by their FUP, and 97% of their users are able to coast on without hitting their daily and monthly caps. Globe also says that the FUP is necessary because it is what protects regular users from heavy users, and ensures everyone has a quality browsing experience. They also say that even while throttled into 2G speeds, there’s a number of things you can still do with your connection, like update your Facebook, post tweets and send out text emails. They also say that their 3GB data cap is extremely generous, and is larger than most major telcos here and abroad.
