Here’s actual photos of the BlackBerry Venice

If there’s one Android phone we really want to see in person, it’s BlackBerry’s rumored Venice slider. The Canadian company’s upcoming Android offering has been teased for quite some time before, and it’s only now that we’ve seen photos of it in the wild. There’s a couple of reasons why we’re especially intrigued by it: for one thing it’s a phone made by BlackBerry that ditches the standard OS of the company and goes with Android (Lollipop 5.1 at that), and it’s a slider!

The new photos show just what the phone looks like in real life, including the back which has a funky carbon pattern on it. It also looks like the Venice is slightly thicker than most smartphones to account for the sliding mechanism, but not by much. Rumored internals of the BlackBerry Venice include a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 5.4-inch display and an 18-megpaixel rear camera, with a 5-megapixel front facing unit.
