Alcatel has entered the hybrid PC game

Aside from their flagship Idol 4S handset, Alcatel has also launched their first Windows 10 device, the Plus 10, in the Philippines. First unveiled during Mobile World Congress a few months ago, the Plus 10 is your typical Windows 10 2-in-1 device: it can work as a tablet when you’re browsing websites and social networks, and when you need to get down and dirty with work you can connect a keyboard so it’ll work more like a traditional notebook. The 10-inch display boasts an IPS panel and has a resolution of 1,280 x 800.

There’s a slew of connectors on the keyboard, which includes a full sized USB port, a microUSD port and a microHDMI port. There’s also built-in LTE that can be shared up to 15 other people. Two batteries power the Plus 10 – one in the tablet and one in the keyboard – to keep you going through the day. The tablet has an internal battery of 5830mAh while the keyboard has a smaller one at 2,580mAh.

Inside the Plus 10 beats a Intel Atom x5 Z8350 1.92GHz processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which can further be expanded via a microSD slot up to 64GB.

Like the phone, the Plus 10 doesn’t have pricing as of yet, but Alcatel is estimating the price of the phone to be under 20K.
