Samsung promised the Android Marshmallow update to customers who have purchased the Galaxy A9, which was released a few months ago, and they have begun rolling out the 6.0.1 update in China. With details for Android N revealed at Google I/O 2016 and testing underway, we could possibly be seeing more updates rolling out to other devices in the future; starting off with the rest of the Galaxy A series handsets.
No official word as to when Marshmallow will hit our shores, but we do advise manually checking for the update from time to time if you’re eager to get the latest version of Android.
