We’re hopping on a plane and attending the official SEA launch in Jakarta!

A lot of you are waiting for ASUS to officially launch the Zenfone 2 in our country. While we’re still not getting the official launch in the next few days, the hotly anticipated device is slowly but surely creeping closer to a local release. We’re hopping on a plane for a trip to Jakarta, Indonesia, for the official launch of the Zenfone 2 in SEA.

We’ve been trying to pry pricing information from ASUS to no avail, and while we’re aware that there’s been pricing leaks last week, sources in ASUS have told us that nothing is set in stone as of yet as prices are constantly in flux. ASUS PH Product Manager Lenny Lin said in an exclusive interview to Unbox that prices may still change up until the day before launch.

So what can we expect from tomorrow’s launch? Well, ASUS will definitely be sharing their sales milestones in the Philippines as well as SEA, as the Zenfone series of phones is their best performing devices to date. ASUS will also be sharing their pricing for the devices in Indonesia, which is a good benchmark of what the prices of the devices will be in the Philippines.
