Will we finally see KitKat on MyPhone devices?

Back in May we found out that MyPhone was preparing to release a KitKat update for their smartphones via their ODM Tinno. Well, after about a month and a half of waiting, it seems that the company is gearing up to provide that update. While the update is fashionably late (around 15 days at press time) the update will still be welcome news to thousands of MyPhone users. Currently only one other local brand has provided a KitKat update for their phones, and that’s Cherry Mobile, although several local brands have already released new phones running the new operating system. Let’s just hope that MyPhone’s teaser is actually a KitKat update and not just a new wave of models running KitKat – MyPhone users are counting on the company to make good on their promise.
