Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt: March 6!
The budget-friendly Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt will finally become commercially available on March 6. Units will sell for Php3,999 at SM City North Edsa Annex, Robinson’s Manila, and Graphic All-in Stores. First 50 buyers will get free gifts (maybe a leather case or battery charger pack?). Each customer can only get one unit per transaction and there will only be limited stocks.
We reviewed the Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt a few weeks ago and we hesitated to give it our full recommendation because the benchmark test results and over-all user experience didn’t live up to our expectations. However Cherry Mobile already clarified that the units we were given were prototypes and that future software optimization will be done prior to release to the public. Hopefully that unit they will be selling on March 6 will be the optimized model. If not then Cherry Mobile stands to get pummeled on social media for not delivering on the brand promise with the Fusion Bolt.
We’ll try to secure a unit when it starts selling on March 6.
