Divoom iBase-1

Divoom is steadily expanding their product line. They started with their various portable speakers and now they’re venturing into iPhone, iPod, and iPad docks. The Divoom iBase-1 is an elegant, stylish, portable, and reasonably priced speaker dock for your iOS devices.

The “iBase” name is definitely apt for this one. At the top of the dock you’ll find the charging port which you dock your iOS device to. The controls are just below it and the I/Os are at the back. In terms of size the iBase isn’t too big. In fact you can easily put this in your bag if you need to take it with you.

To make the product a little more interesting, Divoom put in some mood lights at the bottom of the speaker. You can turn this on or off on the control panel at the top.

Note that this doesn’t have a battery. To use this you’ll need to plug it in an outlet. Perfect for your office desk. 🙂

Sound Quality

We’ve been using the Divoom iBase-1 for a few weeks now and you’ll be surprised at how loud this thing can go. It won’t be able to fill a big living room but it’s definitely more than enough for personal use (desk) or conference room set-ups (you need to present).

Pricing and Availability
