DJI Launches FPV headset — The DJI Goggles

We Hope You Aren’t Afraid of Heights.

A couple of weeks back, Epson showed us what their Moverio BT-300 glasses could do by inviting over the folks from Drone PH; giving us a bird’s eye view of Bonifacio High Street. While controlling drones in the first-person perspective definitely isn’t anything new to the game, we haven’t actually seen a headset that comes from the drone manufacturer for commercial use… Until today. DJI just launched their DJI Goggles recently and we can’t say we’re surprised to see the famous drone manufacturer put this in their product line up.

The DJI Goggles hook-up to your DJI Mavic Pro or Phantom series drone, to let you see the footage you’re actually shooting from great heights and even lets you control the camera through your head movements; combined with DJI’s new Fixed-Wing Mode, we’re pretty sure that you’ll experience drone flying a different way.  The Goggles also sport two 1080p screens to give you a better viewing experience.

The DJI Goggles are priced at $449, or Php 22304, and if you decide to pony up for this toy for a big boy we certainly hope you aren’t afraid of heights.
