We take the Flare S6 Selfie out for a spin!
A few days ago Cherry Mobile officially launched their new Flare S6 series of phones. We’ve already done extensive hands-on articles of the Flare S6, Flare S6 Plus and the Flare S6 Selfie, but we haven’t had the opportunity to really test the cameras of the new phones.

Well, we brought the Flare S6 Selfie along with us during our recent trip to Taiwan, and put the camera to the test in a myriad of real-world situations. But first, let’s take a look at its selfie capabilities – it is a selfie phone, after all.
Just like most selfie-centric smartphones, the Flare S6 Selfie has beautification capabilities that take away blemishes on your face to make your mug look baby-smooth. You can clearly see that beautification feature on the photos below.
One thing that we noticed with the rear camera is its inconsistent exposure settings, with the phone’s camera frequently either under-exposing or over-exposing photos.
As for low-light performance, the Flare S6 Selfie performed well considering the sensor of the camera, as you can see in our photos below.
