You wanted Xiaomi? You’re getting Xiaomi
We sat down and talked to Hugo Barra, VP for Xiaomi Global earlier today, to talk about the smartphones that they will be offering to the PH market soon. While Hugo was still pretty tight lipped when exactly the products will launch in the Philippines, he did show us the three phones that they will be selling in our shores soon.

Aside from these devices, Xiaomi will also try to bring in a couple of other products in the Philippines as well. This includes their 4K TV, Mi TV 2 that ships with a soundbar already, as well as various accessories including headphones, an Android set-top box, external batteries, routers and more.
Inevitably, many of you will be asking about the pricing of these upcoming products. Hugo did not comment on how much these products were going to retail for exactly, but knowing how aggressive Xiaomi is when it comes to pricing, we would be surprised if they did not try to get the prices of the products close to the prices in China.
