IFA 2017: Acer joins the 360 Camera craze with the Holo360 and Vision360

Everything is fun in 360

As 360-degree cameras have become popular these past few years, Acer launched two 360 cameras, both with different functions at this year’s IFA.

Holo360: Moments in 360

Powered by Qualcomm’s Connected Camera Platform, which uses a Snapdragon 625 processor, the Holo360 delivers high-quality images (up to 6.5k resolution) and videos (up to 4k resolution) without distortion with Panomorph Optics. As an all-in-one solution to 360-degree videos, the Holo360 can stitch videos in real time with its LTE connectivity and a 3-inch touchscreen. It runs on Android Nougat, making it easy to share 360-degree photos and videos to any social media platform without the need to sync with a smartphone and PC.

The Acer Holo360 will be available in North America in November at $429 (~Php22k), bundled with a water-resistant case.

Vision360: A safe and fun 360 driving experience

More than your average dashcam, the Vision360 has two cameras to record everything inside the car through 4k video. With safety as its priority, the cloud-connected Vision360 sends GPS coordinates and automatically records footage should it detect a collision. Whether the vehicle is in motion or parked, it will automatically inform the user of any collision through a notification and automatic uploading of video files to the cloud. Aside from this, users can remotely view and track their vehicles using the Vision360, and is also a perfect outing companion for those road trips with friends and family.

There are no details on the Vision360’s availability, but we should get word from Acer soon.
