New Bay Trail processor means 64-bit computing for Android tablets

Android afficionados longing for 64-bit computing need no longer look over the shoulder of iPhone 5s users – according to Intel’s CEO, tablets running Google’s OS will soon have the ability to run 64-bit appss, as long as they’re using their new bay trail processor, of course. Intel head honcho Brian Krzanich said that Android tablets running Intel’s newest piece of silicon will be headed to the market come Q2, bringing with it the benefits of 64-bit computing.
