Is the MyPhone Infinity the Company’s Octa-core Smartphone?

MyPhone Infinity Leaked!

A lot of people have been eagerly awaiting MyPhone’s octa-core offering by now. Two of their biggest competitors, Cherry Mobile and Starmobile have already released their octa-core offerings, which means that the local brand won’t be far behind. Earlier today, a certain Miyer C. Bernarbe posted a photo of the MyPhone Infinity in his Facebook account, which may be the company’s octa-core offering. He posted a follow-up article to the photo on his personal blog confirming that yes, the Infinity is MyPhone’s long awaited octa-core offering.

MyPhone Infinity specs*

  • MT6592 Octa core
  • 2GB RAM
  • Mali 450mp GPU
  • 5-inch full HD display
  • 16GB storage
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

*Rumored specs are subject to change

According to Bernarbe, the MyPhone Infinity scored 26,000 points in AnTuTu, which is close to the benchmark of the similarly specc’d Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z2. The Starmobile Diamond X1 is ahead of the benchmark by about a 1500 points, mainly due to the X1’s HD resolution. Bernarbe also said that the back of the Infinity is non-removable, and he didn’t notice if the device could take a microSD card to beef up the 16GB storage in the device. As far as looks goes, the Infinity looks a lot like the Micromax Canvas Knight (we’ve included the photo of the Canvas Knight for comparison). According to the Canvas Knight’s GSM Arena specs listing, it carries a 16-megapixel camera with autofocus, 5-megapixel front camera, 2350mAh battery GPS, A-GPS and GLONASS. The specs listing of the Canvas Knight doesn’t necessarily guarantee that the MyPhone Infinity will have the same specs (the Canvas Knight has a 32GB internal storage as opposed to the alleged 16GB one in the Infinity) but it gives us an idea what to expect when MyPhone officially announces the device.

  1. 16gb internal not 32?

  2. Panalo to kung maeexpand ung memory. Di enjoy ung 16GB para sa gaming. -_- para sa camera lang din ilang MB ang size ng kada isang image. Bitin –_–

  3. Micromax rebrand?

    • It doesn’t work that way. MyPhone phones are not rebranded Micromax phones. It’s just that both Micromax and MyPhone have the same OEM (Original Equipment Manufaturer).

  4. Infinity? Parang asus lang?

  5. Kung Php13k++ na naman yan then expect it to flop

Php13k is just too much for a generic handset

  6. sourgrape ka lang tol, coz people who have the money, will continue to buy whatever they like, just because they can..

hinde porke’t hinde ka bibili nyan, automatic na “maflo-flop ang market”..

the market doesn’t revolve around you nor your silly comments and it will continue to exist long after you are gone.. remind yourself that..

    • Sez the ass-hurt MyPhony employee lol

Seriously? Anybody with a sane mind will not splurge PHP13k that will never get a KitKat upgrade

If this phone will sell well (or can get mild success at best) mahihiya ako sayo dude

  7. sell or no sell, whatever item is on sale at any given time, all around the world, has a particular market..

you already drove your point acroos — you WILL NEVER remotely come close to buying, moreso even holding something like this, for it runs counter to every single fiber of reasonableness and fit in your mind and body, but again the flipside to the coin is that there are also people who definitely DO NOT MIND splurging their moolah on whatever they so desire, again, just because they can..

it may be unreasonable, ludicrous or what-not, but they do so because they can.. comprende?

    • Why so affected naman 🙂

napaghahalata ka tuloy…. I have my opinion, you have yours

What you say doesn’t alter my perception … same goes to you

”you WILL NEVER remotely come close to buying” sez the ass hurt myPhony

riiight….. you know my lifestyle and how much I make in a month or even the number of handsets that i own.. Because You KNOW ME

  8. I do not like to buy myphone now, kasi unlike before the lcd quality is good, ngayon lahat may dead pixel na, kaya pala hindi na sila nag papa test before buying. they lowered their quality to class B to compete in the tight race of smartphones.
