Leaked: The Huawei Honor Note 9 Sports an Edge-to-Edge Display, Dual Cameras

Huawei’s Honor Note 9 has been popping up in leaked reports and gossip tidbits since the first quarter of 2017. The large, bezel-less, 6.6-inch phablet was recently spotted via clear renders from an industry insider in China. There’s a lot to be gleaned from the images, so let’s do a quick breakdown of the notable features.

Looking at the renders, the front of Huawei Honor Note 9 won’t be armed a physical home button and will be shipping with a single selfie camera as well. The handset will be featuring bezel-less sides, in the form of an edge-to-edge display.

The Honor Note 9’s back side will house a dual rear camera setup, in the top-left corner of the frame, paired with what looks like a dual-LED flash unit. The phone’s fingerprint sensor sits at the back as well.

There’s gossip of the Honor Note 9 possibly shipping with the unannounced HiSilicon Kirin 970, which is expected to be unveiled in late Q3 or Q4 this year. Some sources are expecting the Huawei Honor Note 9 to be officially unwrapped in late September or early October as well, around the same time its predecessor, the Honor Note 8, made its debut last year. No word yet on pricing and availability details.
