Lenovo Unveils Affordable C260, G40 and H500s Windows 8.1 Powered Devices

These new Windows 8.1 powered devices from Lenovo won’t break the bank

Yesterday Lenovo launched a bevy of Windows 8.1 equipped devices meant for the lower-end of the market. The new products – the C260 AIO, G40 notebook and H500s desktop are all meant to cater to people who are craving for a full Windows experience without breaking the bank.

The Lenovo C260 is a 19.5-inch all-in-one that takes up very little space in your desk. Since everything is self-contained in one neat little package, it’s a great choice for people living in small condos and studio-type apartments. The C260 sports an Intel Pentium processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 500GB of storage, though there’s a higher-tier model that also comes with a touchscreen display.

The Lenovo H500s meanwhile, is a desktop PC that has high storage space and relatively affordable pricepoint for a pre-built, branded desktop. Lenovo is touting the H500s as having a smaller footprint compared to regular desktops being offered by their competitors.

Potential buyers have the option of buying just the device itself without a keyboard, mouse or monitor, though options exist if you want to buy it with the accessories mentioned. The H500s is powered by an Intel Pentium processor, and has 500GB of storage, as well as up to 8GB of RAM. According to Lenovo’s site, AMD Radeon R5 235 GPU, though there’s also an option for you to upgrade to the NVIDIA GeForce GT 620, though you’ll be paying a higher price.

Finally, the Lenovo G40 is a notebook that’s highly configurable and can be had in multiple configurations depending on the users’ needs and budget. The 14-inch notebook starts with an Intel Celeron processor for the base model, though you can get it in Core i3 flavor as well with discrete graphics if you require it.

Base prices for the three devices are as follows: the C260 starts at Php 23,500, the H500s goes for Php 13,990 (desktop only) while the G40 starts at Php 16,995.
