LG’s newest phablet gets a laser-assisted camera!
Meet LG’s Gx2. Aside from bearing a huge 5.7-inch display, one of its main claims to fame is sharing the laser assisted focusing system with its bigger brother, the G3.
LG Gx2 partial specs
- 1.2GHz quad-core processor
- 1.5GB of RAM
- 5.7-inch HD display
- 8GB of storage
- 8-megapixel rear camera with laser focus
- 1.3-megapixel front camera
- 3200mAh battery
We’re a bit confused why LG would stick it’s amazing laser focusing system on a phone with a less than beefy 8-megapixel sensor, but we’re sure the Korean electronics giant knows what it’s doing. Because of the size of the phone, it also bears a large 3200mAh battery, which combined with the phone’s middlin’ specs should ensure somewhat longer run-time compared to its contemporaries. No price or date of availability has been set as of yet.
