Had a good year? How about splurging on this monster
If you’ve been looking for a monster gadget to splurge all of your hard-earned money and Christmas bonus(es), then LG has something for you. The company has given us a heads up that they’ll be offering their absolutely gigantic 98-inch Ultra HD TV in the PH come Christmas. The new TV uses LG’s 4K IPS panel, which should make viewing absolutely lovely on the 98-inch display.
Aside from its massive size, the TV also sports a couple of other features that make it unique. It’s complimented by a 5.2 channel, 120W sliding speakers designed by Harmon/Kardon. It’s also a smart TV as well, able to connect to the internet to browse websites, play games and view other content.
The question now is, how much? Well, we don’t have a firm figure as of yet as LG has not shared the price of the incoming TV to us. You’ll recall though that the LG Gallery OLED TV (different tech, but much smaller screen size at 55-inches) was pegged at around Php 449000 when it came out, so you can expect this to retail far higher than that.
