Give this man a medal!

It’s all happened to us – we attend a chaotic party or event with our friends, clutching our cameras, phones and GoPros to document the festivities and/or shenanigans, only to find out later that somehow, our prized gadget has somehow gotten lost. This is the same predicament that faced the owners of the lost GoPro Hero that Arto Jhocson Deleon found after Cebu’s massive Spectrum Sinulog Invasion party.

While Arto wanted to return the lost action cam, he didn’t know who to return it to. Thankfully the owner of the camera left several selfies in the camera, and Arto in turn turned to the GoPro Philippines Items for Sale page to try and locate the owner. There, he managed to get in touch with the person that owned the camera, and, to our knowledge, is preparing to return the lost camera to its proper owners.

This little incident reminds us all to be vigilant with our gadgets when we’re out and about (especially in chaotic parties like the one in Cebu). One trick that we discovered that helps immensely is taking a photo of yourself with a note that tells people who the camera belongs to, as well as how to contact you and keep it inside the SD card of the camera you’re using.
