Check out Miezu’s latest smartphone

We’ve seen so many leaks and speculations about Meizu’s upcoming smartphone. Yesterday the company officially took the wraps off of the M1 – yes, not the M1 Note Mini, just M1. Anyway, it seems that most of the specs and rumors are bang-on – the M1 has a 1.5GHz quad-core, 64-bit MediaTek MT6732 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage as well as LTE connectivity.

Meizu M1

  • 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6732 quad-core processor
  • Mali T760 MP2 GPU
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 5-inch HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, 1280 x 768 resolution
  • 8GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 128GB
  • 13-megapixel rear camera with flash
  • 5-megapixel front camera, f/2.0 aperture
  • 3G, LTE
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS
  • Android 4.4 KitKat with Flyme 4 OS
  • 2,610mAh battery

If that wasn’t enough, the M1 also has a 5-inch HD display, 5-megapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. Probably the biggest thing that the M1 brings to the table is price – it’s pegged to retail at only RMB 699, which comes out at just Php 4,937, or just shy of 5K. If it’s brought here by Novo7 Tech, its eventual price will be still rather low, even considering taxes and shipping.

So, that’s Meizu’s M1. Are you interested in getting one if it ever reaches our shoreS?
