Smart Flexibundles Launched!
Smart Communications just launched their newest postpaid initiative called Flexibundles. Flexibundles are basically add-ons that offer fantastic value for money which you can add on top of your base postpaid plan. You can mix and match the bundles depending on how you use your phone for maximum value. There are over 20 bundles to pick from and you can change them monthly. By picking the right bundles you can actually reduce the over-all cost of your monthly postpaid bills (if you’re the type that exceeds your monthly plan limits).

Smart came up with a Flexibundle online planner tool so you guys can play around with their different postpaid plans and bundles. It’s pretty easy and intuitive to use so it’s definitely worth checking out. Click here to go to the Flexibundle Planner Site.
How we would use it based on our usage
One our our writers played around with the Flexibundle tool to see how he can optimize his postpaid plan. He’s subscribed to Unlimited Data Plan 2,000 and that gets him Unlimited Data, 200 free text messages, and 150 minutes of calls. While he’s thoroughly enjoying the mobile internet he still exceeds his monthly bill because he usually goes beyond 200 text messages and 150 minutes of calls (standard rate is 0.51 per text and 6.11 per minute for calls). He usually ends up paying somewhere from Php3,000-Php3,500 per month.
Given this scenario here’s how he would get more savings using Flexibundles:
He basically got two bundles: ALL NET TALK which gets him 80 minutes of calls for Php250/month and ALL NET TEXT which gives him 3,500 texts for Php350/month. Add that on top of his monthly plan of Php2,000 and it comes out to Php2,600. The additional 80 minutes and 3,500 texts is more than enough for him to consume (he’ll never worry about over-texting or calling) and he won’t have to go beyond Php2,600 anymore for his monthly bills.
