Nokia 9 Shows Up on GeekBench with 8GB of RAM

Nokia’s Flagship Has More than Enough RAM

Nokia’s resurgence, via HMD Global, pulled on our collective heart strings when they brought the beloved 3310 back to life. While the 3310 may have stolen the show at Mobile World Congress this year, it’s their smartphones that a lot people are really looking forward to.

We’ve already seen the Nokia 6, though it was the Chinese version of the phone that we got to play with, and their other mid-ranged devices, but the company that carries the Finnish brand’s name has been a little coy with their higher end phones. They aren’t impervious to people who sift through GeekBench though.

A Nokia device named “Unknown Heart”, the Nokia 9 in disguise, hit the popular benchmarking app and confirms some of the things we already know. The listing confirms that it will have a Snapdragon 835 processor at its core, which is paired up with 8GB of RAM; a bit much for an Android device, if you ask us. Aside from that, other leaks also suggest that the Nokia 9 will have a 5.3-inch QHD display, twin 13-megapixel rear cameras, and 64GB of storage for your photos and apps.

We’re still anticipating the official local release of the new batch of Nokia phones, but we’re definitely excited for all of them.
