Nokia's newest flagship smartphone: Lumia 800

Meet the Lumia 800

If you liked the Lumia 710 then chances are you’ll love the Lumia 800. The body closely resembles the Nokia N9. What’s different though is what’s running on it. The Lumia 800, just like the Lumia 710, runs Windows Mango OS. I’m personally starting to like the Metro Interface of Windows OS. Those tiles look much more fun than the boring grid of apps that I have on my iPhone 4, haha!

How about the specs? The Nokia Lumia has a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor, 512 RAM, ClearBlack AMOLED (800×480) Display, 16GB of storage, and an 8MP Carl Zeiss optics-enhanced camera (f/2.2 aperture).

Looks nice!

How much for the Nokia Lumia 800? The international SRP is around $585. Converted into local currency that’s roughly Php25,155. The question now is if the phone is good enough for people to look away from the iPhone 4S or the higher-end Android smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus?
