New octa-core smartphone from Cherry Mobile!
We just came from Cherry Mobile’s thanksgiving event, where the company has announced (well, sort of) their newest octa-core smartphone, the Infinix Pure XL. The Infinix Pure XL is a 5.5-inch octa-core powered smartphone that’s supposed to play in the sub 7K market.

Priced at Php 6,999, it’s just a few pesos more than their current budget octa-core offering, the Pulse. It seems that Cherry is giving you an alternative to their Php 6,499 offering, as the Infinix Pure XL has a bigger screen size and higher battery rating compared to the Pulse, though it takes a hit in the clock speed of the octa-core processor. Cherry Mobile is asking for Php 6,999 for the Infinix Pure XL. We’ll be unboxing the Infinix Pure XL later tonight.
