Here’s Samsung’s next flagship tablet
Samsung’s one of the few manufacturers left that still makes high-end, flagship tablets, thanks to their Tab S series of devices. We’re about due for a new one, so the new leak from TabletMonkeys.com comes right on time. The new leak shows that Samsung is moving away from the widescreen aspect ratio that their previous tablets had and are now sticking with a more traditional, iPad-like size as the new tablets will come in 8 and 9.7-inch sizes, and 2,048 x 1536 resolutions as opposed to the Tab S’ previous 8.4 and 10.5-inch configurations.
The tablets will still sport Samsung’s gorgeous Super AMOLED panels, and will be around 5mm in thickness. No firm word on what will power the new tablets, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung stuffed their Exynos 7420 processor in these new tablets paired with 3GB of RAM. We’ll know soon enough – Samsung is allegedly announcing the new line by tomorrow, July 20.
