Want a budget desktop at home?

If you’re looking for a budget desktop that you can use at home that’s small and relatively compact, you might want to take a look at the upcoming Colonia by Qube. The new device is a set-top box that’s powered by Intel’s Z3736F Atom processor, paired with 2GB of RAM. While it’s not the fastest desktop PC out there, you’re looking at a power consumption of less than a 1Kwh for 10 days.

The desktop alos has WiFi capabilities, HDMI output, 4 USB slots, Bluetooth 4.0 and has 32GB of storage on board. Qube’s pricing at around Php 5,990 so it’s a really attractive option for parents who need to give their kids PCs at home – all you’ll need after that is a monitor and you’re all set.
