Good alternative if you find the Galaxy Tab S models too expensive

Sony and Samsung are pretty close when it comes to the title of having the best premium Android tablet. Last year we saw the popular Samsung Galaxy Tab S Series go head to head with the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Both devices were at the top of their game. However not a lot of people were able to bring one of those bad boys home due to the price point. Initially they all retailed for over Php30,000 which put them out of reach (hard to justify spending so much on a secondary tablet like a tablet). The good news is that there are alternatives that won’t totally break the bank. One of them is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8 (LTE variant).

Make no mistake, this isn’t a specced out beast of a machine. The internals are average at best and the display isn’t something that you would drool over. However it is half the price of the Android tablet flagships so it’s still worth keeping in mind.

If you’re not too keen on this one then you might want to wait for the latest generation tablets coming from Sony, ASUS, and Huawei. We’re hoping to see those come out in the next 2-3 months. 🙂
