Samsung’s newest J series of phones are now official
Samsung’s budget-oriented J series of devices have a plethora of sizes and specifications to choose from, and now the Korean company has added two more to the mix: the 2016 refresh of their J7 and J5 smartphones. The Galaxy J7 is the nicer phone of the pair, sporting a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED full HD display, 3GB of RAM and an octa-core 1.6GHz processor. The smaller J5 sports a 5.2-inch display, HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.

Both phones are similar to Samsung’s mid-range A series of devices, but obviously since the J series is aimed at the budget market, they don’t have full metal bodies. They do have metal frames though for an added touch of class, but people looking for a nicer handset from Samsung need to take a look at the company’s A series lineup instead.
