Samsung Officially Announces Galaxy Note 4

Samsung’s latest flagship is finally here!

Samsung has officially launched their latest flagship, the Galaxy Note 4. Like the Note 3 before it, the Note 4 retains much of the features of its predecessor, with a bunch of new stuff thrown in.

  • 16-megapixel rear camera with AF and Smart OIS
  • 3.7-megapixel front camera with f1.9 lens
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, A-GPS
  • 3G, LTE
  • Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI
  • 3200mAh battery

While the display of the Galaxy Note 4 is the same size, the resolution has been bumped up to QHD, and Samsung has utilized their absolutely beautiful Super AMOLED panel with the Note 4. There will be two versions of the processor a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 one and an Exynos Octa varaint, with the Philippines receiving the Exynos Octa version.

Samsung has also overhauled the front facing camera of the Note 4, as it’s now a 3.7-megapixel deal, with a f1.9 lens. The rear camera now has an optically stabilized lens as well, paired with a 16-megapixel sensor.

The S-Pen’s functionality has been improved as well, with the company saying that the new S Pen offering a much more natural brush effect, as well as more user friendly Air Command functionality.  You’re now also to easily and quickly open multiple windows by dragging on the upper edge of display, allowing you tu multitask quicky.

As far as availability is concerned, the PH will get the Galaxy Note 4 next month, more than likely during late October. No local pricing has been announced as of yet.
