Samsung Series 5 Slim

A few days ago Samsung Philippines launched their Series 5 and Series 9 laptops. There were several solid products in the line-up but what caught my attention the most was the Samsung Series 5 Slim. This is arguably one of the most stylish and decent specced portable notebooks you can find today. Selling for just Php29,900, it comes packed with AMD’s A6 CPU, 4GB RAM, and 7660G Discrete Class Graphics. For ports you get LAN, HDMI, three USB ports, and a card reader (no optical drive).

We also confirmed via Techlokal that the chasis or body used in this laptop is the same one used in the higher priced Ultrabooks.

Not bad Samsung. Not bad at all.

Carlo! This looks awesome! Would this be comparable to a basic Macbook? Am looking for a computer for The Hubby (or me!), and I think this looks SWELL

  It really depends on the software you use. If you’re more of a Mac person then you might want to buy an MBA. This is a good PC alternative though!
