Samsung’s a brand that’s known for pushing out innovative devices, but it’s not afraid to dip their toe into the nostalgia pool now and again. Case in point, their upcoming SM-G9198 Android clamshell phone. This particular clamshell is probably one of the most powerful out there.
Why? Well, for one thing, it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. There are two displays – one in the outside and one on the inside, both of which are 3.9-inch Super AMOLED panels, protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4.
As for the optics, there’s a 16-megapixel rear camera on the back, as well as a 5-megapixel front facing camera. There’s LTE connectivity on board, as well as Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. We’re not sure if this phone will ever get out of China (where it was first announced) but judging by the actual photos above, many people may just want to grab one, if only to flip their phone shut when you finish a conversation.
