Look ma, (almost) no bezels!
While we don’t regularly cover devices that have no hope of seeing release here in the PH, we had to make an exception to two new smartphones released in Japan recently because of their sheer awesomeness. The two smartphones in question are made by Sharp and are part of their Aquos Line. So what makes these phones special? Well, it’s their ridiculously thin bezels.
Specs are hard to come by at the moment, but it seems that the Crystal X will be the top of the line device in the lineup, sporting a 5.5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, along with 32GB of storage. More importantly, it has an overall size of just 139 x 73 x 11 mm, which makes is smaller in size compared to the LG G3 (another phone that has incredibly small bezels) which comes in at 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm.
The Crystal meanwhile, looks to be the lower-specc’d of the two, sporting a 5-inch, HD panel, Snapdragon 400 processor, LTE, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The Crystal is even smaller than its more powerful brother, coming in at 131 x 67 x 10mm.
While both devices are heading to Japan, at least one of them will become a Sprint exclusive in the US.
