The octa-core wars intensify!
Just when you thought that octa-core smartphones couldn’t get more affordable, SKK Mobile has just come out with what looks to be the most affordable octa-core device in the land. Their Phoenix X1 is priced at a mere Php 5499, which is a thousand pesos cheaper than Cherry Mobile’s Pulse.

As far as looks go, the Phoenix X1 doesn’t look too shabby at all, and closely resembles the styling of the Samsung Galaxy S5, at least the white variant. It looks like SKK Mobile has a winner on their hands as far as pricing is concerned, though it’s still up in the air if the performance of the Phoenix X1 will be up to pay with its competitors.
