Smart Begins Offering No-Lock In Smart Bro LTE Plan

You can now enjoy LTE without being locked in for 24 months at a time

Want to try Smart Bro LTE but don’t want to be locked in for 24 months? Listen up – Smart has unveiled several new tiers for their Smart Bro lineup, including new tablets that have built-in LTE. For people who abhor being locked in for long periods of time, you can avail of Smart Bro’s Plan Php 599 without a device (SIM only) which gives you a monthly data cap of 1.5GB and download speeds up to 42Mbps. If you’re willing to be locked in with Smart Bro for 6 months, you’ll getting either an LTE Plug It for a one time fee P3,500 or a LTE Pocket Wi-Fifor a one time fee P4,500. If you’re the type who likes long commitments, you can opt to go in for 24 months, which gives you the LTE Plug it for free, and the LTE Pocket Wi-Fi for a one time fee of just Php 1,500.

Moving on to the devices, Smart has finally announced that they will be offering the two LTE tablets that they teased way back in February – the Nexus 7 LTE and the Huawei MediaPad 10 Link LTE.

Smart Bro will be offering this under their Plan 1299, which locks you in for 24 months and gives you 1.5GB of data monthly. As far as the one time fee goes, you’ll be forking over Php 1,200 for the 10-inch Huwaei MediaPad 10 Link, while you’ll be out Php 1,500 for the Nexus 7 LTE.
