Smart LTE Pocket Unveiled!
Smart formally presented to the media and bloggers earlier this afternoon their newest LTE product, the Smart LTE Pocket Wi-Fi. This is actually the same device that we featured here on Unbox last week. Based on our initial findings, this is a multi-mode Mobile WiFi router from Huawei which can connect up to 10 devices to LTE, HSPA+, 3G, or 2G (depending on what signal is available). The router can go up to 100 Mbps download speeds but of course reaching that is dependent on the carrier and what band you’re using.

The most practical LTE solution?
The LTE Pocket Wi-Fi is probably one of the most practical LTE devices around. Yes you can use your smartphones as mobile hotspots but we all know that doing that will drain battery like there’s no tomorrow. Also I think LTE is suited more for tablet and laptop use which makes this product more appealing.
Unfortunately no prices or plans were announced yet during the event. As soon as we get more information we will update this page.
