Is Sony sticking with their no-compromise promise for the Z2 compact?
It’s just been a few months since Sony released their no compromise mini, the Z1 Compact, but it seems that the Japanese phone maker is already in the process of making its successor. A number of photos has leaked from China detailing the exterior of the Z2 Compact, the Z1 Compact’s successor. While there’s not a lot known of the device, it seems like the Z2 Compact will sport a 1/2.3 20.7-megapixel camera and NFC.
No details are available for its other specs, but you can be sure that Sony will follow the same tradition of stuffing high-end, no compromise hardware on the slightly smaller device much like what it did with the Z1 compact. And if the Xperia Z2 is anything to go by, you can expect the device to sport a Snapdragon 801 processor, full HD display, LTE and at least 16GB of storage with an expandable memory stuffed in a slightly smaller, sub 5-inch frame.
