Sony’s High-end XZ1 Leaked

The new phone is expected to be announced during IFA

Sony will be announcing a bevy of phones during this year’s IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany, but a leaked render may have taken a bit of wind from the Japanese company’s sails. Official-looking renders of their upcoming XZ1 has been released by OnLeaks, showing off the phone’s body.

In a world where manufacturers are racing to reduce the bezels of their phones to nothing, Sony’s OmniBalance design design philosophy makes the phone look dated, despite being launched this year. The phone sports a 5.2-inch full HD panel, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage and a single 19-megapixel rear camera with 4K recording capabilities and 960FPS slow-motion capture. The phone will also have a 3,000 mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner located on the side.
