First local tablet with Intel Atom Z2580 chipset
Starmobile’s been a busy bee. Aside from the Octa-core Diamond X1 (which has begun hitting their stores and will be available nationwide by Feb. 4), they have also released another flagship device in the form of the Engage 9i. The Engage 9i is their newest and greatest tablet, and according to them, is the first and only 9-inch tablet from a local brand with the new Intel Atom Z2580 chipset and processor.

From the specs alone, it looks like the Starmobile Engage 9i is a tablet powerhouse. That 2GB of RAM should be more than enough to power the full HD display. The 2.0 GHz Intel Atom Z2580 processor is no slouch either, and together with the PowerVR GPU, Â means that the Engage 9i could be one of the most powerful tablet offered by a local brand.
