Sun now has LTE!
Sun is apparently now offering LTE with 4GB of data at Plan 999. Right now the telco is only offering USB modems and pocket WiFis with their LTE plan and are not offering phone plans as of yet.
There are a couple of options to choose from if you’re looking to grab Sun’s LTE plan. You can go with a lower cash out option (Php 2,800 for the LTE USB modem and Php 1,500 for the LTE Pocket WiFi) though you’ll be locked in for a set number of months (12 months and 24 months, respectively). Alternatively, you can spend more cash (Php 4,500 for the LTE USB modem and Php 3,500 for the LTE Pocket WiFi) so you won’t have to deal with any lock-ins, or you can just pay for the service and get an LTE SIM issued to you (though you’ll be locked in for 3 months).
