Exciting Times for Windows PC Laptops and Desktops
Toshiba is also displaying their new products at IFA 2015 in Berlin, Germany. The one that got our attention the most was their latest laptop convertible offering, the Toshiba Radius 12. It packs a gorgeous 12.5-inch display with 4K resolution and you can flip it into a tablet (though it might be a little heavy at 2.9 pounds).
It’s powered by the latest Intel Skylake processor which also brings the Windows Hello feature. Using the built-in camera on the Radius 12 and Intel’s facial recognition software, you can unlock your laptop just by looking at the camera. Pretty sweet tech right there! Imagine the possibilities for mobile later on.
The Radius 12 also uses the latest USB technology, USB-C. For those who are allergic to this (thanks to all the adapters needed for the MacBook), the Radius 12 also has 2 standard USB 3.0 ports.
No word yet on the pricing locally or if it will even reach the Philippines. It’s set to launch Q4 2015.
