And they deserve it – before the release of the Flare 3, the local tech scene was already ecstatic to see 5-inch, quad-core smartphones retail for around 5K. The Flare 3’s release was one of the company’s biggest coups, and while MyPhone started the whole craze with their Rio, Cherry Mobile perfected the ultimate quad-core bang-for-the-buck smartphone with the Flare 3. It’s safe to say that the company is looking to replicate the same success with their octa-core Me Vibe this year, but that’s another conversation for another time.
