Yes, you read that right. We’re giving away 1 Audio-Technica M50 Headphones! These cans are considered to be the flagship product of Audio-Technica. They’re used by DJ’s and audiophiles. I have one myself and I can swear that they deliver outstanding sound quality and performance. This is definitely one of the best headphones available in the market today.
For the mechanics we were inspired by our recent Audio-Technica SJ55 giveaway. We had a lot of fun reading the entries so we decided to build on that. You’ll know what I mean when you read the contest mechanics below.

CONTEST MECHANICS
1. Write a blog entry on why music is important to your life. Be creative with your entry! You can use photos, videos, text, or a combination of all three.
2. Leave a comment below this post using either Facebook or WordPress with a link to your post.
3. In your blog entry link to this post in Unbox with the anchor “Audio-Technica M50″. For example: Audio-Technica M50
4. All entries will be judged using the following criteria:
- 65% Creativity/Uniqueness (use of photos, videos, etc.)
- 10% adherence to mechanics
- 20% quality of writing (grammar, structure, etc.)
- 5% Bonus for the first 20 submissions
5. The first 20 submissions will get +5% bonus points.
6. The entries will be rated by a panel of judges composed of Unbox writers and Audio-Technica Philippines.
7. The entry with the highest score will win the Audio-Technica M50 Headphones! No promises yet on consolation prizes but we’re working on something for you guys. Will announce when it’s 100% confirmed.
8. Deadline for submission of entries is 11:59PM, September 22, 2011.
9. Judging period is from September 23 – 27. Winners will be announced on September 28 here at Unbox and on the Unbox Facebook Page.
